A Personal Accident Insurance policy covers :

1) Death

2) Permanent Disability

3) Permanent Partial Disability

4) Temporary Total Disability.

For Death and Permanent Disability - its pays you the total sum insured and for temporary disability it pays you a weekly compensation of around 1% of Sum Insured per week, for 100 weeks.

Is there a bonus for not having a claim in a year?

The policy carries a cumulative bonus of 5% for every claim free year subject to a maximum of 50% of the Accidental Death Sum Insured. In case a claim is made during a policy year, the cumulative bonus would reduce by 5% in the following year.
The cumulative bonus will be applicable for Accidental Death, Permanent Total Disablement and Permanent Partial Disablement Sum Insured only (Cumulative Bonus will reflect against the Accidental Death Benefit on the policy schedule).
There will be No transfer of Cumulative Bonus from other insurers.

Is there any discount if I buy a policy with a longer term or a policy with more members?

There is a family discount of 10% for purchase of policy of more than 1 member.
A 2-year policy term has a 7.5% discount. A 3-year policy has a 10% discount. These are cumulative in nature.
Example: If Mr. A and Mrs. A purchase a 2-year policy term they are provided with a 17.5% discount. If they purchase a 3-year policy term they are provided a 20% discount.
